Subject-Verb Agreement Rule 13
A plural verb is used for a relative pronoun referring to a plural antecedent.
Examples:
A. Look for the titles of the books that deal with pollution.
B. Herminto is one of those boys who look good in tuxedo.
Exercise 13
1. The reason for these abuses (is, are) known to the authorities.
2. She asked for the different cookbooks which (was brought, were brought) by granny from the States.
3. Locate the different magazines that (is, are) used by the researchers.
4. Bring me those kids who (performs, perform) the play.
5. Don't eat those fruits which (is, are) placed in the plastic bag.
