Happiness is the key to success

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. --Albert Schweitzer (in Growing Happy)
This morning I woke up enthusiastically. I was startled when I saw my old journals in my English American Literature class way back in junior college. I thought those stuffs were thrown already in the rubbish bin. To my surprise, I hurriedly scanned the pages and made a quick overview on the contents. When I was about to close the plastic envelope a small piece of paper fell on the floor. I got it and read what is written on it. "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful."
Well, I was frozen for a moment while I internalized the saying that I just read. I reflected myself and thought. "I love what I am doing now. And everything brings me joy and happiness and because I am happy I know I will succeed."
Somehow, we really have to chase and find the things that can make us happy . Sometimes, they are just around the corner but we don't see them because we are too engrossed to achieve our wants so we forget to achieve our happiness and eventually our sucess.
